Mila the Barkersaus had a small outdoor barkday celebration back in May this year – marking the 3rd barkday party I’ve been to within less than a year. This is very much overdue, while there are no special tips in organising a hotdog party, it’s always sweet to look back at the photos… and being reminded that Petra’s 2nd barkday is coming soon and the hoomans really need to start planning! ;-O
While I was enjoying my year-long break, I took the chance to see more of Singapore, mother nature and working out at the same time. The bff and I did one to two hikes a week until we picked up yoga that eventually replaced the weekly hikes. It was through the countless walking that I learnt new routes and got a little better at remembering places.
HDB flats lovers tend to question me on my choice of property (in future) – condominium, to the extent of breaking down the cost of the usage of facilities to whatsoever. Whatever they can think of. It isn’t surprising that many who stay in private properties and paying the maintenance fee ranging from $200 to $1000, do not utilise the facilities enough or at all to “justify” for the cost. To be honest, that’s their money and choices. Who are we to comment and control? Anyway, new HDBs nowadays do not have void decks; I’m gonna grow old feeling so lonely because I do not have a sheltered place to hang out LOL. #justsaying
Excess weight is a problem which people all over the world struggle with. In the modern world of fast foods and processed carbohydrates, it can be very hard to maintain a healthy weight, especially if you aren’t an especially active person.
Even if you have managed to lose most of your excess weight, you may find it extremely difficult to lose those last few kilograms of belly fat. Also known as ‘love handles’, this fat tends to be extremely stubborn, and often needs a specially tailored workout with a range of different activities to try and move it.
Sweating it out is our new kind of sexy! After the urban hike from Katong to Kallang, we decided to take a longer hike this time to test our stamina since we normally capped at 10km, and also to indulge in some nature view along the way! The weather had been really cranky but we made it through without too much delay! Our feet carried us all the way from Katong to Tanjong Rhu, Marina Barrage, Gardens by the Bay & Marina Square! Where the cars can go, we can go too (almost)!
