DBS Bank celebrated the opening of their revamped Plaza Singapura branch, putting their customers in awe by their new lifestyle concept – Novel 24/7 “café and branch”. The branch also features innovations such as Cash Services Machines, Video Teller Machines, industry-first VR corner for retirement planning and humanoid robot, Pepper, as VTM instructor.
9 doggies, 11 humans. Does it sounds like a party? To celebrate Petra turning 1 year old, his pawrent really put in much effort to ensure that he has many fur-friends coming. From decor to goodie bags to food, it was nothing but the very best for the furkids! If only Petra knows how much love he is getting from all the human friends and the Mommy! I told S, I wanna be a dog in my next life if I am getting such a life like Petra.

My Fat Pocket recently hosted a photography workshop for the in-house bloggers at Lady M. Thanks to the crew, we had the chance to learn more about the new Casio Exilim EX-ZR5000 selfie camera over some cakes and drinks!

I am now using the ZR5000 in white. The review will be up by next week!
Welfie with Claire. Awesome complexion and not the typical headshot only selfie!
Thanks to Lady M for the delicious treats! We had a great time chatting and understanding more about the various functions of the new ZR5000!
I was so excited when I received an invitation from My Fat Pocket to attend their Summer Pool Party held at Village Hotel Changi! It has been more than 5 good years since I joined them as a resident blogger and I’ve always been looking forward to a gathering session for the longest time ever! Claire and I decided to reach way earlier before the rest so we can explore the hotel for good photo spots!
Someone online commented I have strong upper body! Hehe thanks! I think it’s quite an easy stunt but I did risk my safety a little for this shot!
Sun was too bright, can’t get my head up high.
Outside the event room that holds a beautiful scenery.
So happy to see Mikko after so long! We really need to catch up more often! I am really excited that she has started on her fitness journey too!
We toured the hotel – spacious rooms, pools, seminar rooms and ballroom.
So happened I was there for a staycation the week before! Check out my review HERE.
I didn’t manage to utilize the gym the previous stay and I was definitely wow-ed because this must be one of the biggest hotel gym I have seen!
Mikko and I started doing some light workout! 😉
The Creek Pool is situated outside the restaurant.
Then, we had YOGA! It was my first time trying it and now I understand why people like it! It was an opportunity to slow down my pace, to breathe properly and to rest my eyes instead of staring at screens. Those moments, I seemed to forget my worries.
We sat through a fitness talk with delicious, healthy food.
The weather wasn’t great but we had great fun bonding indoors!
We were all wearing bikinis or swim tops sponsored by Roxy!
Thank you to the following sponsors as well!
I enjoyed myself and it was a good-planned event. Would love to have more of such gatherings if possible! Thank you MFP!
SnoopyRun – Sunday, 24 April 2016 at Singapore Sports Hub.
It’s my first run ever and I was really excited to be participating in this peanuts gang theme run! I’ve gotten some tickets from the organizer, hence I decided to go for a walk with the sister and friends. We woke up extremely early on a weekend, never mind the fact that we were the last wave of runners. ;-p
Nearly 10,000 people turned up for SnoopyRun and some were seen decked out in furry wear and plush toys. At this point, we decided to just walk since it felt like just a leisure event.
Run with friends! Unfortunately, due to some last minute circumstances, my dear Melva had to start first without us. ;-(
A photo of my cute Snoopy-bu
At the starting line, Snoopy, Charlie Brown & Lucy took turns to cheer the participants.
Lucy’s skirt seemed a little too short for her lol
There were a number of photo opportunities which we didn’t manage to take because the queues were really long. The sky had been cloudy from the start so we didn’t want to risk getting drenched and hurried along.
The route seemed shorter than my usual 5km walks.
A lucky draw with attractive prizes sent the Snoopy fans into a craze!
That explained Lucy’s empty lemonade stand. ;-D
No photo chances? Head to Kallang Leisure Mall for a pic at this Snoopy kiddy ride! Haha!
Overall, I enjoyed my Sunday morning. It has been a long time since I wake up so early to do something healthy! Definitely will try it again!
(ps: Happy Birthday to the sister!)
