Staycation: LLOYD'S Inn

I brought the gf on our 2nd staycation at Lloyd’s Inn for her 32nd birthday! She has blogged about our first experience here, check her post out if you are keen in Lloyd’s business room!

Located at 2 Lloyd Road, 8-10 minutes walk from Somerset MRT, we were both elated to go back to this place as we love some food places over at Kiliney Road.

Prepare yourself for a bit of walk though!

Here’s the comfy bed in our “The Patio” suite!

We were here for 2 nights and I paid about $560 all in all. It’s worth it for the large space, loft and open-concept bathroom!

There is an outdoor dining table which we didn’t use though as there were too many insects.

We didn’t use the loft at all. It might be useful if you are doing some work here or have a small food party going on for more than 2 pax. In our case we merely took some welfies.

Tried Hai Di Lao @Somerset 313 like a finally!

IMG_2702.JPG

Went shopping in Orchard, ate churros, drank coffee… Gosh, we didn’t want our relaxing break to end!!!!!

IMG_2703.JPG

On the last night, we decided to have a little drink while having a soak. We didn’t enjoy coz we ain’t the bathtubs kinda people lol. The gf even had problem getting into the warm water omg laugh die me.

So troublesome lah to use a bathtub, need rinse and soak it with hot water for 30mins, drain off, rinse again and fill up with water before I dare to use. So waste water right?

My only skincare for that 3 days – bSoul Hydra-Milk Cleanser and Hydra-Comfort Face Cream. Read about my review HERE.

I really wish to celebrate all your birthdays from now on. 😉

We totally enjoy our staycations at Lloyd’s Inn (except for the soft pillow which kinda gave me neckaches). I won a nice black umbrella the first time from the Lucky Wheel Spin! Come to think of it, not sure why I wasn’t asked to spin the wheel this time round.

Might wanna try out the “Big Skyroom” the next time! Till then!

  1. Hi! I just booked a room at Llyod’s Inn and I was wondering if you could give me the specific directions to get to the place from Somerset. 😦 Cause honestly when it comes to finding places although I’ve tried google maps and other sources, I always seem to get lost when I try making my way to “foreign” places!! Hahaha would help a lot of you could give me the directions!

    1. Hi Naj,

Simply walk straight down the road (around 5mins), turn right and walk all the way straight (10mins). Somerset train station will be on your left! 😉
Hope this helps. If not, can always check with the hotel staff.
(ps: they have this huge map board at the lobby too! Sure can fin your way!)

      Cheers!
